Overview
Archiving a List is an option to save Lead Capacity rather than permanently deleting a List.
This can be done in the List Settings by clicking the Archive Status toggle option to Archived.

Note: Not Archiving your Lists when not dialing them will negatively impact system performance.

Archiving a List
1.) Click the Call Center main menu.
2.) Click the Lists option.
The Manage Lists page will open.
3.) Click Edit in the Action gearwheel drop-down.
The View List page will open on the List Settings tab.
5.) In the List General Settings section, find the Status and Archive Status fields.
- If the List is Active, the Archive Status will not be displayed until the List is marked Inactive.
- If the List is already Inactive, the Archive Status field will already be on the page.
If the List is already Inactive, skip to Step 7.
6.) If the List is Active, click the Status toggle to Inactive.
The Archive Status field will appear.
7.) Click the Archive Status toggle to Archived.
8.) Click the Apply Change button.
Note: Moving Lists in and out of the Archives does not take effect in real-time. The system will implement the changes you made at midnight, and the Status will reflect the following day.
- However, in circumstances with Lists that have an extremely high volume of Leads, it is possible that the Archiving will not be able to be completed over a single night, in which case only a portion of the List will be Archived. In these cases, the process will be paused in the morning and continue the following night and each night after until the List is finished being Archived. The Status will not reflect as Archived until the List has finished Archiving.
The next day, or when the List has finished Archiving, it will show as Archived in the Status column of the Manage List page.
Limitations of Archived Lists
The contents of an Archived List cannot be altered.
- Leads cannot be inserted, updated, or deleted by API in an Archived List.
- Leads cannot be uploaded to an Archived List.
- Workflow Automations cannot execute actions on an Archived List.
- Leads cannot be moved to or moved from an Archived List.
To do any of these things, the List will need to be Unarchived.
Unarchiving a List
1.) Follow steps 1-3 in the section above to open the View List page.
2.) Click the Archive Status toggle to Unarchived.
3.) Click the Apply Change button.
