Overview
The Access Control List allows Super-Admins to control how other Users interact with the Admin App. Admins can configure various permissions that determine what Users can do and see in the Admin App.
This article will walk through how to restrict a User from interacting with Leads in the Admin App. This User will no longer see the Leads on the Manage Leads page.

Before You Begin
Admin Users' access is completely customizable using the settings in the Access Control List.

Note: Users can only adjust permissions for Users at their same level and lower. Super-Admins are the only Users who can customize anyone's permissions as they are at the highest level.
Restrict Manage Leads
1.) Click the Account main menu.
2.) Click the Users menu option.
The Show Users page will open.
3.) Click the Email of a User you want to restrict.
The User Settings page will open on the Credentials tab.
4.) Click the Access Control List tab.
The Access Control List tab will open.
If the User has a generic Admin or Agent in the User ACL drop-down, then you will need to create a new ACL.
5.) Click the blue Create ACL button.
- See the Edit Existing ACL section below if you want to edit one of your Custom ACLs.
6.) Scroll down to the Leads section.
7.) Check and uncheck the Leads section Read permission box.
- This will remove all the checks in the Read column in the Leads section.
8.) Scroll back to the top:
- (A) Type a Name into the User ACL field.
- (B) Click the blue Create ACL button to save your changes.
Your new ACL will now be available for additional Admins if you want to give them the same permissions.
Edit Existing ACL
1.) Open the Show Users page.
2.) Click the Admin's Email to open their Settings.
The User Settings page will open on the Credentials tab.
3.) Click the Access Control List tab.
4.) Click the Edit ACL button.
5.) Scroll down to the Leads section.
6.) Check and uncheck the Leads section Read permission box.
- This will remove all the checks in the Read column in the Leads section.
7.) Scroll to the top of the page and click the blue Save ACL button.
When Users without these permissions try to access the Account's Leads, they will get this error:
