Overview
Opt-In, Opt-Out, and Help Settings are mandatory for sending SMS to Leads. This article shows how to edit these settings in the Campaign Registry Settings.

Configure Opt-In/Opt-Out
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the Campaign Registry menu option.
The Manage Campaign Registry page will open.
3.) Click the Settings option in the Action gearwheel drop-down.
The Edit Campaign Registry page will open.
Note: Edits to the Campaign Registry will not be saved if the Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy fields are blank.
Opt-In Settings
4.) Scroll down to the Campaign and Content Attributes section. Enter a Value for the Opt-In Response in the Value column text field.
- Click the blue Add Opt-In Status button to add more Opt-In Values.
5.) Select a Match Type in the Match Type column drop-down.
- Contains - Response will be valid as long as the content contains the Value.
- Exact - Response will only be valid if the content matches the exact Value.
6.) Select Opt-In from the Status column drop-down.
Note: You cannot leave this Opt-In message blank; after applying the settings, it will revert back to the default message, "You've opted in to receive SMS messages from [Blank]. Data and msg rates may apply."
Opt-Out Settings
By default, you cannot leave the Opt-Out message and Help Settings blank.
- Click the Add Opt-Out Status button to create more Opt-Out Statuses.
7.) Enter the Value in the Value column text field.
8.) Select a Match Type in the Match Type column drop-down.
- Contains - Response will be valid as long as the content contains the Value.
- Exact - Response will only be valid if the content matches the exact Value.
9.) Select SMS Opt-Out from the Status column drop-down.
Note: You cannot leave this Opt-Out message blank; it will revert back to the default message "We've received your request to stop communication. Please allow up to 48 hours to update your contact preferences." after applying the settings.
Help Settings
10.) Click the Add Help Status button.
11.) Enter the Help message, Value, Match Type, and the Help Status for the Leads.
Note: You can't leave this Help message blank; after applying the settings, it will revert back to the default message: " To stop communications, reply with just the word STOP, or call this number for assistance."
12.) Click the blue Apply Changes button.
