This article will cover how to edit your Support Portal Profile and how to change your password for the Support Portal.
Edit my Profile
Your User profile can contain contact information that you can manage.
It is important that this information is always up-to-date as it ties directly to your Help Tickets.
1.) Click your profile name to open the Profile Menu.
2.) Select Edit my profile.
This will open the Edit my profile window.
Here you can edit your:
- Profile photo
- Phone Number
3.) Select the fields you want to change.
4.) Enter your new details.
5.) Select Okay.
Note: These details are directly associated with your Support Profile and Support Tickets.
Each profile has a unique password set and maintained by the User. Naturally, there may be times when this password requires updating.
1.) Click your profile name in the top-right corner to open the Profile Menu.
2.) Select the Change password option.
This opens the Change password window.
3.) Fill the Current password field.
4.) Fill the New password field.
- Keeping in mind the password requirements:
- Must be at least 5 characters.
- Must be fewer than 128 characters.
- Must be different from email address.
5.) Fill the Confirm password field with your new password.
6.) Click Save.
Note: Once you Save your new password, you will be signed out of your profile and returned to the home page.
1.) Go to https://help.convoso.com
2.) Click on Sign in at the top-right of the Help Center Knowledge Base page.
The Sign in to Convoso window will open.
3.) Click on Forgot my password below the Sign in fields.
The Please set me up with a new password window will open.
4.) Enter your Email (A) in the field the Email field.
5.) Click the Submit button (B).
6.) Open the Create a password for Convoso reset password email from the firstname.lastname@example.org address.
7.) Click the Set a new password link in the email to set your new password.
8.) Enter a new password that abides by the Password requirements in the New password field.
- Password requirements are listed below the New password field.
9.) Click the Change password button.
You will be logged in and redirected to the Help Center Knowledge Base page.
An automated email will be sent confirming the update to ensure that you were the one to make this change.
