The purpose of assigning Inbound calls to the Softphone is to ensure the calls go to the Softphone even when the Agent is not logged into the dialer. This can be helpful when the Agent needs to receive calls at their desk even when not logged into the dialer.

Finding an Agent's Extension
1.) Click the Account main menu.
2.) Click the Users menu option.
The Show Users page will open.
3.) Click the Name of the Agent to open their Settings.
The User Settings page will open on the Credentials tab.
4.) Click the Connection Type tab next to Credentials.
5.) Find and note the Agent's Extension.
Routing a DID to an Agent's Extension
1.) Click the Account main menu.
2.) Click the Inbound Numbers menu option.
The Manage DIDs page will open.
3.) Click the Inbound Number or Edit in the Action gear-wheel drop-down to open the Settings.

4.) Configure Route Call To:
- (A) Select Extension in the first drop-down.
- (B) Select your Agent's Extension in the second drop-down.
5.) Click View Extension to open the Extension Settings in a new tab.
6.) Click the tab with the Inbound Number Settings page. Scroll down to the bottom and click the blue Apply Changes button.
7.) Click back into the tab with the Extension Settings page.
8.) Configure the following:
- (A) Outbound Caller ID Name: This will be the Caller ID when dialing out directly through the Soft Phone.
- (B) Outbound Caller ID Phone: Enter the Inbound Number you assigned to this Extension in the second field.
9.) Scroll down and click the blue Apply Changes button.
10.) A Notice window will appear, click the Close button.
Reloading PBX
1.) Click the Phone System main menu.
2.) Click the Reload PBX menu option.
3.) A Confirmation window will appear, click the green Reload button.
The Reload PBX page will open, with a notification that your Reload is successful and it may take up to 15 minutes for your changes to go into effect.
