This FAQ will guide you on how you can send a test SMS message on an existing lead in the SMS Template section.
You can send on a test SMS Template on a new created SMS Template or one of your existing templates.
Please check this FAQ on How to create a new SMS Template.
For existing SMS Templates, please follow the steps below.
From the Admin dashboard, click on Account and select SMS Templates.
Under Manage SMS Templates, search for the SMS Template, click on Action button and select Settings.
Click on the Send Test SMS button.
A modal box will appear.
Note: In sending a Test SMS Template, you need to make sure that the lead exists in the account also the phone number should be a wireless number or mobile number.
You cannot send an SMS Test Template without a lead ID.
After clicking the Send SMS button, you will receive a confirmation box,
To check if the Test SMS Template went through, go to SMS Logs and search for the lead ID.
Use Filter By as Lead ID, enter the lead id number and click on Search. You will see the test SMS message under Content column.
