Big Picture: What is Ignite and Why Switch?
What is Convoso Ignite, and what problem does it solve?
Today's outbound landscape is complex and unforgiving. Static flag monitoring cannot keep up with modern carrier rules, and manual DID swaps waste time.
Ignite replaces all that with a more intelligent, automated system that turns DID lifecycle management into a performance multiplier.
Ignite provides:
π₯ Procurement Automation - Ignite dynamically purchases new DIDs only when needed, using built-in safeguards to prevent over-buying.Β
- Three key controls guide Auto Procurement:
- Campaign Demand - The automation only purchases new numbers if active Campaigns are under their DID allocation.
- Defined Maximums - Each account has clear seat-based limits, so procurement cannot exceed the maximum number of DIDs you have approved.
- Smart Replacement, Not Expansion - Underperforming or flagged numbers are rested and replaced, keeping DID pools healthy without unnecessary growth.
This means you get the right coverage for your campaigns without runaway DID costs or "black box" logic.
β€οΈβπ©Ή DID Health Scoring - The Health Score feature ranks every number (1 -100).
- These Health Scores look at several performance signals, including:
- Contact and Answer Rates - The rate at which calls connect and get picked up.
- Usage Patterns - Whether a number is being overused or underused.
- Flag Risk - Early signs that a Carrier may treat a number as spam.
- Carrier-Specific Results - Individual DID performance with major Carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
π Dialing Optimization - Dynamically selects the optimal DID for each unique lead in real-time to boost contact rates.
- Selections are based on these signals together:
- Health Score
- Time of Day
- Lead Type/ Campaign Segment
Dialing Optimization prioritizes your best-performing numbers, rests weaker ones, and ensures every call has the best chance of connecting, all without manual intervention.
Why is Ignite better than CCID or other Caller ID tools?
Ignite leverages continuous health scoring, automated DID management & procurement, and AI-based dialing optimization.
- CCID: Provided binary clean vs flagged views and manual overhead.
- Third-party tools: Unlike stand-alone tools from other vendors, Ignite is built into Convoso, eliminating the need for extra logins, contracts, or integrations.
CCID End of Life
Will CCID continue to get updates?
No. CCID will remain functional until September 30, but we will focus all new development on Ignite.
Will I lose data from CCID after switching?
Yes. Once CCID is retired, its data will no longer be accessible. Therefore, please export any reports you need before September 30.
Can CCID and Ignite run side by side?
No. After September 30, CCID will be removed. Ignite is the supported platform moving forward.
Results and Proof
What results have customers seen?
In beta, we found a strong correlation between a team's starting contact rate and the type of value Ignite delivers.
| Contact RateΒ (pre-Ignite) |
Typical Relative Uplift | Example Contact Rate Improvement | Estimated CPA Reduction | Value Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1β2% | 10β40% | 1.5% β 2.1% | ~15β25% | Foundation & Cleanup β Identifies technical blockers (e.g. spam-flagged DIDs, list inefficiencies), stabilizes performance, and sets the stage for sustained gains. |
| 3β7% | 20β50% | 4% β 6% | ~25β40% | Performance Acceleration β Big CPA impact happens here. Ignite unlocks hidden potential with automated scoring, routing, and number rotation. |
| 8β15% | 5β15% | 13% β 14.5% | ~10β15% | Efficiency & Risk Mitigation β For already high-functioning teams, Ignite protects DID health, reduces manual overhead, and ensures consistency. |
The takeaway: Every team benefits. Lower contact rates recover Return on Investment (ROI), mid-range contact rates maximize Cost per Acquisition (CPA) efficiency, and higher performers protect and sustain their edge.
Ease of Adoption
Do I need to train my Agents or Admins to use Ignite?
Ignite runs automatically in the background. Agents require no training. Admins will need to follow ACID List best practices to see the full benefit of Dialing Optimization. The following Knowledge Base articles are available for guidance:
How do I know Ignite is working?
The best way to measure Ignite's impact is by comparing results side-by-side. We do this through A/B testing: some call traffic uses Dialing Optimization, while the other part stays on your current setup.Β
This gives you a clear, apples-to-apples view of performance. So you can see the difference in contact rates, connection quality, and successful conversations.
How quickly will I see value?
Procurement Automation starts working immediately after Ignite is enabled.
- Within days/weeks: Most customers see higher contact rates as call volumes stabilize.
- As Health Scores mature over time and Dialing Optimization activates, Ignite compounds into bigger CPA savings.
Pricing and Billing
How does pricing work for Ignite?
Ignite pricing is predictable and straightforward based on:
- Agent Seats - Per-Agent License
- Call Intensity - Calls per Agent per month:
- Low: 1 - 55,000
- Mid: 55,001 - 120,000
- High: 120,001+
Ignite is priced as a per-seat add-on, unlike the previous volume-based pricing. This will provide more transparency and predictability on your monthly bills.
Ignite consists of three primary components: Automated DID Procurement, DID Health Scoring, and Dialing Optimization. There are three options when choosing which components to use:
- Automated DID Procurement only.
- Automated DID Procurement and DID Health Scoring.
- Automated DID Procurement, DID Health Scoring, and Dialing Optimization.
Will my bill increase when I switch to Ignite?
Not necessarily. For many customers, the monthly cost stays about the same as what they were paying for ClearCallerID and DIDs. In some cases, the bill may increase based on your setup and usage, and in some cases, it may be lower.
The important part: Ignite is designed to deliver more value for each dollar, through higher contact rates, better call quality, and automation that saves your team time. If you would like, we can walk you through a side-by-side cost comparison before you switch, so you will know exactly what to expect.
Β
Will manual DID ordering still be available?
Manual DID orders will continue to be available. If you prefer, you can opt not to use Ignite and still order numbers manually through Convoso Support. Our team will contact you to let you know when your organization has met its ordering limit.
Compliance Support and Risk
How does Ignite keep me compliant?
Ignite helps your team stay ahead of spam flagging and carrier reputation issues by continuously monitoring DID Health and automatically rotating underperforming numbers.
This process reduces the risk of numbers being blocked or flagged, one of the most common compliance pain points for outbound teams.
For broader compliance needs, the Convoso platform includes additional safeguards such as:
- Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) scrubbing
- Do Not Call (DNC) protections
- Built-in safe harbor features
Ignite and Convoso's compliance tools help you maintain strong performance and regulatory protection as you scale your outbound operations.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Our Support and Success teams handle all Ignite questions. Since it's fully integrated with Convoso, you won't have to manage multiple vendors.
Flexibility
Is Ignite a 1:1 replacement for CCID?
Ignite builds on CCID's foundation but goes much further. It carries forward CCID's automation and reputation monitoring while introducing new capabilities that deliver faster, smarter, and more reliable results.
Here is how Ignite expands on CCID:
- DID Procurement Automation - CCID required manual oversight; Ignite dynamically purchases and assigns DIDs as Campaigns need them.
- Intelligent Health Score - This is more robust and faster than CCID's monitoring. Ignite scores every DID across carriers, factoring in performance signals (contact rate, answer rate, usage, and flag risk).
- Real-time Dialing Optimization - A brand new layer. Ignite does not just monitor numbers; it actively selects the best-performing DIDs in real time, protecting your connection rates.
The bottom line: Ignite is not just a replacement but the next evolution of DID reputation management. It transforms the automation CCID introduced into a complete lifecycle system that prevents flagging, simplifies management, and maximizes outbound performance.
Can I opt out of certain Ignite features?
Yes. You can toggle features like Procurement Automation and Dialing Optimization on/off to fit your team's preferences.
