Overview
The A/B testing feature allows two or more ACID Lists to be associated with a single Campaign, assigning each a call traffic ratio. This eases the risk of testing Convoso Ignite features as it will only impact a portion of outbound calls.
A/B testing uses a Parent/Child(ren) ACID List structure.

A/B Testing Configuration
A/B testing requires one Parent ACID List, which can have up to three Children. The call traffic for a single Campaign is then divided between the Parent and its Children.
Below, we will examine the differences between the Parent and Child ACID Lists.
Parent ACID
The Parent ACID List is the link to the Campaign. It is also through this List that you can activate the A/B Testing.
-
AI Assisted Dialing Type is set to Version 4.0.
- Version 4.0 contains the A/B Testing feature.
- Parent ACID is assigned as the Campaign's Custom Caller ID.
Children ACIDs
A Parent ACID can have up to three Children Lists. A Convoso team member will configure the specific ACIDs attached to the Parent List and the ratio of call traffic they will handle.
- The Child or Children ACID Lists can be used for testing the Dialing Optimization features.
- Use AI Assisted Dialing Type Version 1.0 for Frequency Cap only.
- Use AI Assisted Dialing Type Version 2.0 for Frequency Cap and Dynamic DID Selection.
- Use AI Assisted Dialing Type Version 3.0 for Dynamic DID Selection only.
