Overview
DNC Lookup allows Admins to check their Leads for DNC numbers using third-party DNC Providers.
This article will walk through configuring a new setting that allows Admins to reject numbers based on Carrier Type.
Important: Only Leads with the associated Carrier Type(s) will be looked up when using this setting.

Before You Begin

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone numbers are assigned, disconnected, and reassigned at a higher rate.
- With the high turnover rate, the potential of non-compliant dialing increases as consent does not transfer to the new owner. This results in lower contact rates and increased costs.

Filtering DNC by Carrier Type
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the DNC Lookup menu option.
The Show DNC Lookup Providers page will open.
3.) Click the Name of the DNC Lookup Provider to open the settings.
The Edit DNC Lookup Provider page will open.
4.) Click the Bulk tab.

Note: The Bulk section of DNC Lookup Provider is for use with Campaigns with a Predictive-type or Power Dial method.
- Use the Single tab for Campaign using Manual or Preview-type Dialing.
5.) Configure the Filter by Selected Carrier Type.
- VoIP: Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone numbers.
- Mobile: Phone numbers for cellular phones.
- Landline: Phone numbers for non-cellular phones.

Note: Admins can select up to two Carrier Types to filter against.
- If no Carrier Type is selected all Leads will go through DNC Lookup.
6.) Click the Save DNC Provider button.
