Overview
Number Registration enables the ability to register DIDs to Business Profiles, which:
Ensures the right phone numbers are tied to the right businesses (brand, legal entity, and industry).
Helps support caller ID/spam flagging/reputation management by registering accurate business information with First Orion.
Powered by First Orion’s Business Registry, this feature adds a Number Registration page under Apps where admins can:
See all businesses set up for number registration on an account.
Create new business profiles (with industry, address, and contact details).
View each business, including its registered DIDs.
Bulk de-register DIDs from Business Profiles.

Number Registration
The Number Registration page is where Admins can create Business Profiles that DIDs are then registered to via the Inbound Numbers page.
Click the Apps main menu
Click the Number Registration menu option.
Business Profiles
The Number Registration page contains a table that lists all the Business Profiles an Account has set up. Numbers are then Registered to the Business(es).

The trade name or alias the business operates under, if different from the legal business name. |

The complete physical address of the business. |
DID Count Associated with this Business |
The total number of DIDs registered to this business profile. |

The industry classification/category of the business. |
Contact Info |
The primary contact phone number associated with the business. This may be used for verification or communication. |
Status |
The registration status of the business profile (e.g., Approved, pending, rejected). |
Create a Business Profile
Click the Create a Business Profile button.
Fill in the fields in the Business General Settings section.

The business’s tax identification number (EIN or SSN). Format: 12-1234567 (Tax ID) or 123-12-1234 (SSN) |
DUNS Number |
A unique nine-digit identifier issued by Dun & Bradstreet. |
Primary Phone Number* |
The main business phone number. Must be exactly 10 digits. |
Company Type* |
A drop-down menu for selecting an industry classification (e.g. Automotive, Legal, Public Service, Insurance, Real Estate, etc.) This field can be used for compliance or reporting purposes. |
Employee Count |
The approximate number of employees in the organization. |
Street Address* |
The physical street address of the business location. |
City* |
The city where the business is located. |
State* |
The state abbreviation (e.g., CA, NY) where the business is located. |
Zip* |
The postal code for the business street address. |
Primary Contact Name* |
The full name of the main contact person for the business. |
Primary Contact Email* |
The email address of the Primary Contact for the business. Used for communication and verification. |
Primary Contact Phone* |
The Primary Contact’s phone number (must be exactly 10 digits). |
After saving, you will see the View Business page on the General tab.
After creation, fields cannot be edited.
Once the Business Profile has been approved, the banner in the Business General Settings section will show an APPROVED Status along with a the Business ID.
Registered Numbers Tab
The Registered Numbers tab will show a list of DIDs that have been registered to this Business Profile.
Once DIDs have been registered they will display in the DIDs Associated with this Business section. Otherwise there will be a notice that there are no DIDs registered to that business.
De-Register Numbers from a Business Profile
Once there are numbers registered to a Business Profile they will be listed in a table.

| Checkbox | Used to select one or more DIDs for de-registration actions. |
| DID Number | The 10-digit inbound phone number associated with the DID. |
| Vendor | The provider or carrier from which the DID was obtained. |
| Status | Indicates whether the DID is currently active or inactive. |
Click the checkboxes for the DIDs that need to be de-registered from the Business Profile.

Click the red De-register Selected Numbers.
The button will display, in parenthesis, the number of DIDs selected.
A Deregister DIDs window will open.
The selected DIDs will be listed and separated by commas, in the DIDs to be deregistered text box in the window. You are able to edit this list if needed.
Note: You can only de-register 100 DIDs at a time.
Once you have confirmed the DIDs you want to de-register, click the Deregister (##) DIDs button.
The number of DIDs selected will show on the button within the parenthesis.
Registering Inbound Numbers
If Number Registration is NOT enabled, you cannot register DIDs from the Inbound Numbers page. You are only able to Update Registration Dates and Statuses.
Without Number Registration
You are only able to Update Registration Dates and Statuses for DIDs. Register and De-register buttons are not available.
With Number Registration
With Number Registration enabled, you will see the Register Selected DIDs and De-Register Selected DIDs buttons, as well as the Update Registration buttons.
Register DIDs to Business
When Registering DIDs, clicking the Register Selected DIDs button will open the Register DIDs to Business modal window.

Select a Business Profile from the Business to Register to drop-down.
The available Business Profiles are those that were created on the Number Registration page and are approved.
Both fields are required.
- Select a Purpose from the Call Purpose drop-down. This is the business purpose the numbers are being used for.
The Submit Registration button will only become active/clickable once required fields have selections.
DIDs that were selected from the Inbound Numbers page will show in the Selected DIDs field, separated by commas.
If you need to include more DIDs, click the Choose File button in the Upload CSV or Tab Delimited File field. Uploading a CSV is optional.
Click the green Submit Registration button to complete the DID Registration.
