Overview
Adaptors act as translators between the Convoso software and external software. By creating an Adaptor, you are telling the system that a field in our system is the equivalent of a field in another system.

Adding Adaptors
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the Adaptors menu option.
The Show Adaptors page will open.
3.) Click the Add Adaptor button.
The Add Adaptor page will open.
4.) Configure your Adaptor General settings:
- (A) Name: Name your Adaptor.
- (B) Active: This Yes or No slider activates your Adaptor.
5.) Configure your Lead Fields, Call Log Info, and Extra Fields settings as needed.
Note: Only fields with Mapped To values can send or receive data. If you wish to map a variable to multiple destination variables, separate the variable names by a comma. For instance, to map phone_number to phone_1 and phone_2, add in the Mapped To field the following value: phone_1,phone_2.
- Lead Fields: This section contains Lead information values.
- Call Log Info: This section contains data within the Call Log Report.
- Extra Fields: This section contains additional fields, primarily custom fields from your Lead Layout.
Columns in each of the field sections.
- (A) Label: This is the information or value of the Lead.
- (B) Field: This is the name of the field.
- (C) Mapped to: This is the field's name provided by third-party software or vendor.

(D) Default Value (if empty): The default information or value will be forwarded to third-party software or vendor.
The following steps (6-8) are optional for selecting a specific format for date-related fields.
6.) Click the set date format link.
The Set Date Format window will open.
7.) Select your preference in the Date Format drop-down.
8.) Click the green Ok button. And repeat for any additional date fields.
9.) Scroll down and click the blue Save Adaptor button. Once you have saved your Adaptor settings, the Generated Data section will appear.
The Generated Data section produces the string you used by the third-party software or vendor to communicate with Convoso.
Editing Adaptors
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the Adaptors menu option.
The Show Adaptors page will open.
3.) Access the Adaptor settings by clicking the Name of the Adaptor or the Settings option in the Action gear-wheel drop-down.
The View Adaptor page will open.
4.) Configure your General Settings and Lead Fields, Call Log Info, and Extra Fields as needed. Refer to steps 4-8 in Adding Adaptors for more information about the settings on this page.

5.) Click the blue Save Adaptor button. Once you have saved your changes, the Generated Data section will produce a new string for your third-party software or vendor.
Deleting an Adaptor
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the Adaptors menu option.
The Show Adaptors page will open.
3.) Click the Delete option in the Action gear-wheel drop-down.
The Delete Adaptor window will open.
4.) Click the red Delete button to continue deleting your Adaptor.
The Success window will open.
5.) Click the gray Close button.
