There are CRM systems that we don't have a direct integration. Common examples of these systems are Zoho and Salesforce.
We can still integrate into these CRMs by introducing a webhook and we will use Zapier for this.
In order for this to be set up you’ll need to have the following requirements:
- Admin access to the Convoso Portal.
- Access to the Zapier Account.
Once you have the necessary requirements, you may follow the steps below to configure it.
From the “Admin Dashboard”, go to “Apps” and select “TalkPro Shares” from the dropdown menu.
On the “Show TalkPro Shares” page, click “Add TalkPro Share” on the right-side.
On the “Add TalkPro Share” page, enter the details needed.
Note: In the meantime, just add the Name and example API Url so we can save this TalkPro Share. We will update this section later once we get the details from Zapier.
The "TalkPro Share" is now created.
Once the “TalkPro Share” is created, go to “Apps” and select “Adaptors” from the dropdown menu.
On the “Show Adaptors” section, click the “Add Adaptor” button on the right-side.
Add a Name for the Adaptor.
Scroll down to the "Leads Fields" Section.
Map the name of the field of their Convoso account to the name of the field of their CRM.
(e.g. First Name, Last Name, Primary Phone, etc.)
NOTE: The screenshot below is an example.
Scroll down and click on the "Save Adaptor" button located lower right corner of the page.
The "Adaptor" is now created.
Once you’ve added an “Adaptor”, you need to go to your Zapier account.
Go to https://zapier.com/app/login and log in to your account.
On your "Dashboard Page", click on the "MAKE A ZAP" button.
In the "Trigger" section, click on the "Webhooks by Zapier" button.
On the “Catch Hook” section select;
App = Webhooks by Zapier
Trigger Event = Catch Hook
Click on "Continue"
The “Webhook URL for Webhooks by Zapier” will be displayed.
Click on "Copy" and we will need to paste it to the "TalkPro Share" that we have created earlier.
Go back to Convoso Admin Page. Click “Apps” and select “TalkPro Share” then select the TalkPro Share you created.
On the “API Url” field, delete the sample URL and paste the URL copied from Zapier.
For the “Request Method” select “POST”.
For the “Adaptor Id”, select the adaptor you created earlier.
It should look like this.
Click on the "Save TalkPro Share" button located lower right corner of the page.
Your "TalkPro Share" is now updated.
To initiate a test, go back to your TalkPro Share and click on the "Test TalkProshare" button
Make sure the Test Post is successful by going to the "TalkPro Share Logs" tab.
Go back to your Zapier account and on the "Catch Hook" section, click on "Continue"
Click on the "Click “Test trigger” button
If the test trigger is successful, this is what we should see.
We have successfully Integrated Convoso to Zapier.
From this point, you will have to configure Zapier and create an Action Step.
The Action Step Section is what Zapier will do if we push the Leads Data to it.
