This will guide you on how you set up the X-Lite as an external phone for your agent.
Note: Before setting up X-Lite, you need to configure the user to External Phone as Connection Type. (Please click here to see the full details.)
Download the X-Lite application from this website:
https://www.counterpath.com/x-lite-download/
Open the X-Lite application. Click on Softphone and then Account Settings to configure X-Lite.
Enter the agent's user credentials.
Once it's enabled and connected, you will see "Available" on the X-Lite application.
To log in as Agent using X-Lite as a softphone.
Select the Campaign and Staus and click on Login.
Dial-in Number will appear on the screen. Dial *007 and call it on X-Lite application.
Once the connection is established, the agent will hear "Welcome" prompt and the phone icon on the agent interface should be color green.
