This feature is used with tandem to 'inserting a lead through API' where the system cross checks the lead from a client's 3rd party CRM which is being inserted to the client's Convoso account. This will have the option to either allow a new lead with different information or without for duplicate numbers.
Here are the steps on how to configure API Duplicate Lead Check:
First is to create an Adaptor for field mapping for the 3rd party CRM.
Please check the link on how to add adaptors. How to Add Adaptors.
Second is we need to create TalkPro Share where we will use the adaptor we just created.
Please check the link on how to add TalkPro Share. How to Add TalkPro Shares
After we create Adaptors and assigned it to the TalkPro Share we created, we will now enable API Duplicate Lead Check settings under Global Settings.
From the Admin page, click on Account and then Global Settings.
API Duplicate Lead Check - Setting the feature On or Off.
TalkPro Share - Select the TalkPro Share you created for your 3rd party CRM.
External API Data Validation:
Key - This will be the key where Convoso will look for the response that we get from the 3rd party CRM. (Ask the 3rd party CRM what is their return key.)
Value - This will be the value we will look for the key above. (Ask the 3rd party CRM what is their return value.)
Create Lead - This is for the lead creation even if the key/value matched or skip it and mark as duplicate.
Status - This is the status of the new created lead if the Create Lead option is set to On.
Add to DNC - If set to yes, the phone number will be added to the account DNC. If No, it will not be added on the account DNC.
Success - If set to Yes, the system will return a success response. If set to No, the system will return a fail response but it will still post a new lead.
Remove - Delete an entry. (Note: You can add multiple entry by clicking the Add button.)
Note: This is used for TalkProShare or Workflow only
