7.9. How to Transfer a Lead to an external phone number
While on a Live call.
Step 1: When ready to transfer the lead, left click on the "Transfer Conference" button on the right hand side of your screen.
The "Transfer Conference Functions" window will then appear.
Step 2: Enter the phone number of the Transfer party in "Number to Call".
*When transferring calls, the caller ID the receiver will see is the campaign caller ID.
Click the check-box for "Set Lead as Caller ID" if you want to use the phone number of the lead as the caller ID.
Three ways in transferring a call.
1. Dial with Customer
This option will allow you to introduce the customer to the person where you are transferring.
2. Park Customer Dial
This option will put the customer on hold while dialing the transfer number.
Click on the "Hold" button to unhold the client and join the conference.
3. Blind Transfer
This option will simply send your customer to the transfer party right away. The call will end and you will see the normal disposition window.
How to end your call while in the conference and how to Hangup the Transfer Party
1. Leave 3-way Call
Click on the "Leave 3 Way" button when you would like to leave the conference and disposition the call.
2. Hangup Transfer Line
This option will hangup the Transfer line you're trying to call.
3. Hangup Both Lines
This option will end both the customer's line and the Transfer party. The call will end and you will see the normal disposition window.
