Caller ID is a telephone feature that displays a caller's phone number on the recipient's phone device before the call is answered. We can assign Caller IDs to Campaigns, Queues and Lists. Keep in mind that if you set a caller ID on the list, this will override all other caller IDs in the system.
From the Dashboard, click on Call Center and select List from the drop down.
Click on the Action button and click on Edit from the drop down options
Under List Generals, on Caller ID: Select the Caller ID for this List. In this example, we used 6192685951 as the caller ID.
Note: Caller IDs listed in the drop down are the Inbound Numbers added into the account. Due to FCC ruling, you cannot use a phone number as CID if it is not assigned to your account.
Scroll down and click on Apply Changes to save the settings.
Note: We do not control the name that will show up on caller ids. Please contact your local phone company that you purchased this number from if you are having an issue with the name that appears when you call customers.
