Here we will discuss how to add adaptors. Adaptors act as a translator between the TalkPro software and an external piece of software.
From the Dashboard, click on Apps and select Adaptors from the drop down.
In the Show Adaptors section, click on Add Adaptor button
Adaptor Generals
- Name – Drip name is used for reference only and can be modified
- Active – This will activate / deactivate lead drip
Adaptor Fields
- Label – This is the leads information or value
- Field– This is the name of the field
- Mapped to – This is the name of the field provided by 3rd party software or vendor
- Default Value if not empty – This is the default information or value that will be forwarded to 3rd party software or vendor.
Call Logs Info
- Label – This is the leads information or value
- Field – This is the name of the field
- Mapped to – This is the name of the field provided by 3rd party software or vendor
- Default Value if not empty – This is the default information or value that will be forwarded to 3rd party software or vendor.
Fields in Call Logs Info are usually being utilized by other features in the system.
An example of this is the Caller ID Displayed and Inbound Number field which is being utilized by API Plugin. For more information about API Plugin, see this link How To Add API Plugin
Click on Save Adaptor
Generated Data
After you edit the adaptor settings and map to the 3rd party software or vendors field, a string will be generated that the 3rd party software or vendor can use.
