This article covers how to add Adaptors.
Adaptors act as a translator between the Convoso software and an external piece of software.
1.) Click the Apps main menu.
2.) Click the Adaptors menu option.
3.) On the Show Adaptors page, click the Add Adaptor button.
Adaptor Generals
- Name – Drip name is used for reference only and can be modified
- Active – This will activate/deactivate lead drip
Lead Fields - These parts consists of lead information values
- Label – This is the information or value of the lead
- Field– This is the name of the field
- Mapped to – This is the name of the field provided by 3rd party software or vendor
- Default Value if not empty – This is the default information or value that will be forwarded to 3rd party software or vendor.
Note: Only fields with "Mapped To" values will have the ability to send or receive data. If you wish to map a variable to multiple destination variables, simply separate the variable names by a comma. For instance to map phone_number to phone_1 and phone_2, add in the Mapped To field the following value: phone_1,phone_2
Note: For Fields with date, you have the option to set the date format by clicking "set date format" link.
Select the date format that you would like to use from the drop down option.
Call Logs Info - These fields consist of data within the call log report
- Label – This is the information or value of the lead
- Field – This is the name of the field
- Mapped to – This is the name of the field provided by 3rd party software or vendor
- Default Value if not empty – This is the default information or value that will be forwarded to 3rd party software or vendor.
Fields in Call Logs Info are usually being utilized by other features in the system.
An example of this is the Caller ID Displayed and Inbound Number field which is being utilized by API Plugin. For more information about API Plugin, see this link How To Add API Plugin
Extra Fields
- Label – This is the information or value of the lead
- Field – This is the name of the field
- Mapped to – This is the name of the field provided by 3rd party software or vendor
- Default Value if not empty – This is the default information or value that will be forwarded to 3rd party software or vendor.
Click on the Save Adaptor button.
Generated Data
After you edit the adaptor settings and map to the 3rd party software or vendors field, a string will be generated that the 3rd party software or vendor can use.
How to Delete Adaptors.
From the Dashboard, click on Apps and select Adaptors from the drop-down.
In the Show Adaptors section, click on the Action button and select Delete from the drop-down.
Click on Delete
Verify that the Adaptor is Deleted.
