A User or Agent is a unique entity that the Admin creates to log in to the system. Each user needs a unique email address and must be assigned to at least one campaign in order to dial. The admin can create different access levels for each user granting permissions to different portions of the software. Below are the steps on how to create or add a User.
Note: When creating a new user account. It may take 15 to 30 minutes to activate their SIP/VoIP extension.
From the Dashboard, click on Account and select Users from the drop-down.
In Show Users section, click on Add User.
Create User window will pop up and you will need to fill out the information as follows:
- User Type - Select General User
- First Name – This will be the first name that is displayed throughout the system.
This message will appear if First Name field is blank - Last Name – This will be the last name that is displayed throughout the system.
This message will appear if Last Name field is blank - Email – This will be used to log in to the agent page and email the user their credentials or voicemails. Note: This does not need to be a valid email address but it needs to be a valid email format. This message will appear if email format is invalid
- Password – Must be letters and numbers only.
- Admin ACL – The Access Control List profile of the admin.
- Agent ACL – The Access Control List profile of the agent.
Click on Create User and a notification will appear. Click on Close.
These steps are OPTIONAL and you can SKIP and reconfigure these in the Users Settings at anytime.
Default User Connection section, Select Browser for Connection Type and click on Next.
Configure the Access Level of the new User. You can decide which Sections the User can have access to by clicking on the Single or Double Arrow Keys. Single arrow keys will move individual items selected from left to right and vice versa while Double arrow keys will move all items.
