Overview
Our current ClearCallerID product provides you with real-time data on the flagged status of their phone numbers.
This new Automated Remediation Management (ARM) helps reduce the number of flagged phone numbers. The CCID ARM will now provide a method to help reduce the number of flagged numbers and reduce the number of tasks needed to ensure Campaigns are using clean numbers.

Enable CCID Remediation
1.) From the Admin Dashboard, click the Account main menu.
2.) Click the Global Settings menu option.
The Global Settings page will open.
3.) Scroll down to the Enable CCID Remediation field
- The options to choose from are percentage based.
- The percentage chosen will set the maximum % of phone numbers that will be rested.
- This percentage will be applied per ACID List.
When CCID Remediation is turned on, at whatever percentage is chosen, Convoso will set flagged numbers to Resting.
- When Resting, ACID List will not use the number to make any phone calls. The number will remain in the ACID List, and when cleaned, the status will change from Resting to Active.
Inbound Numbers Page
CID Status will show per DID whether the phone number is ACTIVE or RESTING.
- Active will show in green.
- Resting will show in red.
- How often does the resting refresh?
At the end of the day, 11 pm PST, it will check all newly updated numbers, whether clean or flagged, and will set it to the proper state: Active when cleaned, Resting when flagged.
Show ACIDs Page
Resting DIDs will show the number of DIDs that are resting within each ACID List.
This number should reflect the max % of number set in the Enable CCID Remediation setting in Global Settings.
For the CCID Remediation tool to work, we need to have both the Global Setting ON and the ACID List setting ACTIVE for the tool to actually be on and working.
Note: When the toggle is OFF, it will hide the value in Resting DIDs and the CID Status in the ACID List.
ACID Settings Page
CID Status will show per DID whether the phone number is ACTIVE or RESTING.
Active will show in green, Resting will show in red.
-
How do I know if the Resting state is actually working?
Within the day, you are able to view the ACID List, find a resting number, and check the Calls Today column.-
It will show 0 (zero) calls today, as it is considered resting.
-
Area Code Coverage Tab
The Area Code Coverage Report in the Area Code Coverage tab of ACID Settings now shows two new columns: DID Count (Active) and DID Count (Resting).
- For every Area Code, it will show, how many DIDs are actively being used and how many are being Rested.
-
The DID Needed and DID Overage columns will take into account the DID Count.
Caller IDs Preview Tab
- When phone number is in Resting state, it will not show in Caller IDs Preview.
- When phone number is in Active state, it will show in Caller IDs Preview.
This is the truest way to know whether the number is Resting. The system uses Caller IDs Preview tab to determine which number to use for the dialing.
