Remote Users are used as substitute for actual users. These Remote Users will be a placeholder for actual agents and make sure the dialer calls out by using the campaign settings.
From the Admin Dashboard click on Account and then Users.
Under Show Users, click on Add User.
On the Create User window, under User Type select Remote User.
Remote Campaign - Click the drop-down and select the campaign where you want to assign the Remote User.
Note: RVM (Ringless Voicemail Campaign) and SMS Campaign should not be in the option since those type of campaigns have built in Remote Users
For Dynamic IVR, only one Remote user can be assigned to it.
Remote Number - Enter the remote phone number. (It should be an 11 digit number starting with 1)
First Name - Enter the first name for this user. This will be the name that is displayed throughout the system.
Last Name - Enter the last name for this user. This will be the name that is displayed throughout the system.
Once done, click on Create User.
Activate the New Remote Agent by clicking the toggle button for Status.
If you get this error message while activating a remote user, contact support. This means that you already reached the maximum allowed active remote users in your account.
