An SMS or text Campaign will send out mass SMS messages to all the leads uploaded to the campaign. Please contact support to enable this feature on your account.
First you will need to create an SMS Template. To do this, click on Account and select SMS Templates from the drop down.
Click on Add SMS Template
Type the Name of SMS Template
Type the message in the body of the SMS Message. If you need to add any lead information automatically, select the field and click on Body.
Click on Add SMS Template
Second you will need to set up an SMS Campaign. To do this, click on Call Center and select Campaigns from the drop down.
To go to the settings of the SMS Campaign, click on the name of the Campaign
In Campaign Settings, click on the General Tab and select SMS for Campaign Type
Click on Apply Changes
Note: An SMS Campaign will have different sets of tabs as compared to a regular campaign.
A regular campaign will have General, Outbound Settings, Inbound Settings, Call Routing, Leads, Dispositions, Assigned Users, Hopper, Auto Logout, and Advanced Configurations Tab.
An SMS campaign will have General, SMS, ACID, Leads, Dispositions and Hopper Tab.
Also, the Hopper Tab has minimal options as compared to a regular campaign.
In Campaign Settings, click on the SMS Tab.
Configure the following
SMS Settings
- SMS Template - Select the SMS Template you wish to send to your customers
- SMS List - Select the SMS List numbers Created earlier
- SMS Success Status - Select the status of the lead that received the SMS message
- SMS Fail Status - Select the status of the lead that failed to receive the SMS message
- Max Messages Per Hour
Opt-In Settings
Click on Add Opt-in Status.
Enter the Value and the Opt-In Status for the leads.
Opt-Out Settings
Click on Add Opt-Out Status.
Enter the Value and the Opt-Out Status for the leads.
Scheduler
Click on Add Scheduler.
Configure the following
- Type
- Start Date:
- Start Time:
- End Date:
- End Time
- Time Zone:
- Max Messages
Select the SMS Template/Templates .
Note: If there are multiple SMS templates selected, the system will use the template with the least sent count.
Click on Apply Changes
To set up SMS ACID, click on ACID tab
Select the SMS number that will act as the sender of the SMS and click on Apply Changes
Note: Once an SMS number is assigned to a campaign, it will no longer be available to select for another campaigns.
Below is the list of all Area Codes. If the Area Code matches the area code of the SMS Number, the system will use that number as the sender of SMS.
If the system doesn't have any match, it will use the closest SMS Number as the sender
Note: In the Show Campaigns Section, SMS Campaigns won't show Dial Method, Dial Level and Caller Id since those information will not be applicable to this type of campaign.
